Hi, I’m Dasha.

Multidisciplinary communication designer

I create bold visual narratives by bridging conceptual typography, 3D graphics, and physical media. My goal is to design objects and systems that transcend the screen and interact with the physical world.

How I work

I believe that strong design is built on the intersection of structural logic and material exploration. Whether I am designing a custom typeface, sculpting complex 3D forms, or developing merchandise, my process remains consistent:

Research → Structural Logic → Form Exploration → Production

Part I — Academic

Exploring form, grids, and spatial structures through educational projects.

Type &
Editorial

Fonts · Books · Calendars

Problem: To explore the structural limits of typography and printed matter.

Idea: Treating text as a core architectural element. This section compiles my academic research into letters and paper — from independent custom fonts (Tangage, Lepus Script) to complex calendar structures and experimental lettering.

Solution: Developing cohesive typographic systems across different formats, including multi-page book layouts exploring rivers and travel. A rigid grid connects these diverse academic explorations.

Brand, Form
& Motion

Identity · 3D Objects · Media Production

Problem: To translate brand narratives into cohesive visual, physical, and dynamic systems.

Idea: Expanding flat 2D branding into 3D spatial objects and moving images. This section highlights projects that required holistic world-building — from tactile materials to screen-ready animations.

Solution: Creating comprehensive identities (such as a conceptual eyewear brand and MACH Audio Systems), managing the KZS souvenir project, sculpting conceptual 3D furniture in Blender, and integrating motion design into the visual identity for HD Prod media agency.

Part II — Commercial

Applying design logic to business tasks, retail environments, and digital platforms.

Retail &
Print

Merchandise · Editorial Design

Problem: To deliver practical, B2B-driven design solutions without losing experimental aesthetics.

Idea: Applying structural logic to retail environments and commercial editorial projects. The focus shifts to production constraints, physical materials, and end-consumer interaction.

Solution: Managing the design and production of physical merchandise for Podpisnye Izdeliya, and executing strict editorial grid layouts for Zodchiy Publishing magazines.

Visual
Narrative

Commercial Illustration · Print · Goods

Problem: To create engaging visual narratives for commercial application and independent merchandise.

Idea: Using illustration as an expressive and highly adaptable tool for visual communication. The goal is to bridge the gap between digital drawing and tactile, sellable print formats.

Solution: Developing a series of illustrations tailored for physical mediums, such as printed postcards and independent goods. This demonstrates the ability to deliver artistic vision while meeting real-world print production and retail standards.

Digital &
Web

Web Design · Graphic Content

Problem: To adapt bold aesthetics and physical design principles to screen-based environments.

Idea: Creating engaging digital narratives that capture user attention while maintaining brand consistency across different digital touchpoints.

Solution: Executing digital graphic content for Shcholoch, alongside developing high-conversion web layouts and digital storytelling for the IRNBY landing page.
