Cold Contours — A first-person 3D puzzle game about magnets and exploring a steel, industrial behemoth.

You regain consciousness inside an abandoned structure.
The last spark of life flickers within the machinery: steam isn’t flowing through the pipes, the electricity is about to fail, and the sluice gates are jammed. To find a way out, you’ll have to understand the complex’s system and bring it back to life step by step.

Instead of your familiar hands, you interact with the world through the claws of an exoskeleton suit.
The claws will allow you to interact with the environment, activate switches, and save stations.
You can grip the edges of the platforms and pull yourself up to move more efficiently within the complex.

During the game, it is the pincers that collect and securely attach the magnets. From that moment on, they remain in your hands until the very end, becoming the primary tool for advancing forward.
Magnets allow interaction with mechanisms remotely.
They can be thrown (LMB/RMB), and they instantly return upon pressing a button. Even without charge, they can be used to break obstacles or activate inaccessible switches.
Upon charging, the magnets gain the ability to adhere to metal. They can now be used as wall mounts or as a tool for attracting metal.
By switching the polarity, you can make the magnets attract or repel each other with force to solve puzzles.
The game does not feature a typical interface overlaid on the screen.
All the necessary information, including magnetic polarity and system status, is located right on the chest panel—you just need to look down.
This same principle applies to system settings. We eliminated pop-up windows: the main menu is integrated directly into the location as a physical 3D panel with tactile switches.
The freedom to experiment requires the right to make mistakes, but there are no hidden auto-saves here.
