Ekaterina Ageeva Interior designer

» Concepts with a story, drawings you can build from.

post

About me I’m an interior designer and a final-year student at HSE Art and Design School, working on public, retail and hospitality interiors and the furniture inside them. I like to see a project as a whole: the idea, the way the space looks and the way it is built. That is why I work across all three — concept, 3D visualisation and documentation — and keep them consistent with each other. Education HSE Art and Design School, BA in Interior Design, [2023–2027] Tools AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max + Corona, Sketchup + Enscape, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator.

○ When your team needs extra capacity, I can take on a stage of a project or a whole space: — Concept development: research, narrative, mood and materials — Space planning: zoning, circulation, furniture layouts — 3D visualisation: interiors for client presentations — Working drawings: plans, partitions, furniture layouts, finishes — Custom furniture: from sketch to production drawings.

How we can work together

○ Project-based collaboration with a clear scope and deadline: — one stage of a project, from the first concept to visuals or drawings — one space within a larger project: a lobby, a showroom, a classroom block — extra capacity before a presentation or a deadline Every project starts with a story — a place, a brand, a legend. I turn it into one clear idea, so the visuals your client sees and the drawings your contractor builds from tell the same story.

Arctic Bridge Russian pavilion for Expo 2030

» Concept strong enough to organise different flows of people.

Task Expo 2030 runs under the theme «The Era of Change: Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow». A national pavilion has to make a clear statement and, at the same time, serve four groups with their own routes: visitors, staff, business delegations and VIP guests.

Idea The Arctic is not a remote frozen region but a living bridge between today and a sustainable future. The pavilion presents it as a laboratory where solutions the whole world will soon need are tested first. The visit unfolds in three acts: — Act I. The Arctic of the past: context and scale, on the way in — Act II. The Arctic of today and tomorrow: the snow room lets visitors feel the climate — Act III. Make your contribution: the experience turns into a position, on the way out.

Solution

I built the plan around the story. Each act takes its own zone, so the narrative and the circulation became one diagram. Visitors, staff, the business programme and VIP guests enter and move separately, without crossing.

Zones: reception and gift shop, exhibition, restaurant, business programme, VIP, staff, service rooms. Routes: visitors, staff, business programme, VIP.

Result A three-act exhibition route that also works as the circulation plan — Separate flows for four user groups on two levels — Site plan, section, zoning and flow diagrams, floor plans, 6 visualisations One story, readable both in the space and on the plan.

L’Occitane Showroom Heart of Provence

» From brand analysis to a piece of furniture.

Исходный размер 1920x1010

Task In Russia the brand’s stores are small, its product lines are hard to tell apart and its SPA services are barely visible. The brief: a multifunctional showroom that is memorable, different from the brand’s other stores and works both for loyal customers and for people who meet the brand for the first time.

Idea Three sales halls, one for each product family, plus a SPA. The brand’s natural materials — wood, stone, linen, dried flowers — meet coloured glass that gives every hall its own tone.

Solution

The route leads visitors through all three halls to the SPA, while staff have their own way to the storage room. I took the project from zoning to a full set of working drawings: measured plan, partitions, furniture layout and dimensions, floor finishes.

Custom furniture: Heart of Provence

post

The cash desk became a project of its own. Off-the-shelf retail furniture is made for mass stores and ignores the brand, so I designed a modular system around it: — Provence: cash desk with storage, cash equipment and a niche for seasonal installations — P1: large hanging shelf — P2: small hanging shelf The dimensions come from research: a desk height of 850–1100 mm for customer and cashier, shelves at eye level (1200–1500 mm) and 500–1000 mm between them to support add-on sales.

Result Brand analysis and brief turned into a three-hall plan with a SPA — Working drawings for the whole showroom — A modular furniture system with dimensioned drawings and colour options — Materials: reclaimed wood, bamboo, FSC-certified MDF, glass in recycled aluminium frames One brand story, from the floor plan to the last shelf.
