Description
«Kiyo» is a café-shop designed to bring warmth and comfort to our guests.
The previous project introduced the cafe concept and its core idea. This project expands upon that initial work, providing more comprehensive information about the café.
We have also updated the cafe’s visual identity and product line. It is now called «Cute Slime.»
Old project: https://portfolio.hse.ru/Project/178931#178931_3978394
Identity
The slime remains the café's mascot. It is soft, flexible, capable of taking any form, and changing colors.
Despite this, the primary brand color is purple.
The fonts were selected based on criteria such as softness and roundness.

Our new posters
How did we do it? You ask…
Step One: I go over to a friend’s house and use the Midjourney V6.1 AI, because they have it, and I don’t.
First, I take an old project and pull out the cover featuring a slime image. I give this to the AI so that the cover can later be used as a reference for generation.
Next, using the prompt (yellow little cute slime creature, fantasy —cref (link to the cover sent in the chat)), I generated the slime separately so I could use it as a reference for the subsequent work.
First, I generated a mug (a cup with the print the yellow little cute slime creature, fantasy —cref (link to previously generated slime)). But since I’m not the most advanced user, I first used a different prompt and accidentally ended up with beautiful decorative figurines (a cup with the yellow little cute slime creature, fantasy —cref (link to previously generated slime)).
Next, I decided to create a box (a box for the cup with the print the yellow little cute slime creature, fantasy —cref (link to previously generated slime)), but I ended up with another decorative figurine.
Now, the box (a box for the cup with the print the yellow little cute slime creature, fantasy —cref (link to previously generated slime) —cw 0) was generated because I needed to lower the reference setting to 0 so that the neural network generated something similar, rather than something exactly the same as the reference.
After that, I tried to generate a cafe interior (a cafe design, violet and pink colors, cute slime creature figure, fantasy—cref (link to previously generated slime)—cw 0), but I got a mousse dessert.
I added one word (a cafe design interior, violet and pink colors, cute slime creature figure, fantasy—cref (link to previously generated slime)—cw 0) and miraculously, I now have a cafe interior.
I wanted to create a cocoa drink (cocoa drink, little cute slime creature, fantasy—cref (link to previously generated slime)—cw 0), but I got a result that was too fantastical.
Result of the first attempt at generating a cacao drink.
So, I decided to tweak the prompt phrasing and create a cocoa drink with marshmallows shaped like a cute slime creature (cocoa drink with marshmallows in the form of a little cute slime creature, fantasy —cref (link to previously generated slime) —cw 0).
It didn’t turn out exactly as I expected, but overall, it will work for my café.
The outcome that suited me.
Next, I found the strength to create the posters. To do this, I had to add an aspect ratio (posters for the cafe, little cute slime creature, fantasy —cref (link to previously generated slime) —cw 0 —ar 3:4).
I created the logo before all the generations for Assignment 4 of the online course.
To start, I generated a slime (violet little cute slime creature, fantasy) to use as a reference for the logo.
Next, I began trying to create the logo (logo for the cafe, violet color theme, letters Cute Slime, violet little cute slime creature, fantasy —cref (link to the previously generated slime)). However, the neural network would not render the letters for me, so I decided to use Microsoft Bing with the same prompt and the prompt (logo for cafe named Cute Slime). I saved various variations from both queries and selected one.
Then, following the process from the video lesson, I went to Adobe Color to generate a color palette and to MyFronts to find a typeface similar to the text on the logo.
